SEDICICORTO announces 2022 winners

Sedicicorto Forli Film Festival (Festival del Cinema A Forli) has announced the complete list of award winners for 2022 festival, which took place in the Italian city of Forli from October 6-15.

Sedicicorto International Film Festival (Festival del Cinema A Forli) is a competitive short film festival held each October in the Italian city of Forlì since 2004.

A lineup of 146 films competed for the the main awards (trophy and 500 EUR in each category) in the MOVIE, ANIMALAB, CORTITALIA, ANIMARE, NO+D2 and CORTOINLOCO competition sections of the festival.

SEDICICORTO 2022 winners

MOVIE (International Films – Fiction & Doc)

Winner: ALI AND HIS MIRACLE SHEEP (Iraq), Directed by Maythem Ridha.
Special Mention: WARSHA (Lebanon, France), Directed by Dania Bdeir.

ANIMALAB (International Films – Animation & Experimental)

Winner: ONCE THERE WAS A SEA (Slovakia, Poland), Directed by Joanna Kozuch.
Special Mention: STEAKHOUSE (Slovenia, Germany, France), Directed by Špela Čadež.

CORTITALIA (National Films)

Winner: MAMMARRANCA (Italy), Directed by Francesco Piras.
Special Mention: VALE, L’ULTIMO INCONTRO (Italy), Directed by Teresa Sala, Stefano Zoja.

ANIMARE (International Films – animation for children)

Winner: HANUKKAH – LA FESTA DELLE LUCI (Italy), Directed by Maurizio Forestieri.

MENOD5 (Shorts up to 5 minutes)

Winner: GREEN (France), Directed by Cohen, Florean, Fratissier, Poiriez, Thibaut.

CORTOinLOCO (Regional Films)

Winner: WIND DAY (Italy), Directed by Enrico Poli.

STUDENT (film schools)

Winner: GAMBIT (Iran), Directed by Naime Pakniyat.
Special Mention: BRUISE (Taiwan), Directed by Huang Ping An.

Audience Award

Winner: Po pierwsze… (Poland), Directed by Adam Hartwiński.
