March 21, 2022 (DeeD News) – Corti a Ponte – Grande Festival, a short film festival in Italy’s Venice area, has announced the lineup for 2022 edition, which takes place from May 9-21, 2022.
The 15th Corti a Ponte – Grande Festival has announced the complete list of the short films in competition to go on screen at the 2022 edition of the festival in May, according to the official announcement.
A lineup of 54 short films, 27 animation short films and 27 fiction short films, have been selected to compete at the 15th edition of the festival, which takes place from May 9-21 at Padova’s San Nicolò in Italy.
Corti a Ponte is an international festival of short films, characterized by an approach devoted to education in film art and the active involvement of the public of all ages and social groups.
The festival is unique in Italy for the presence of a large international section dedicated to children and young people, with projections of short films made by children and young people from all over the world selected for quality and cultural value.
Corti a Ponte organizes two film festivals:
- Corti a Ponte – Grande Festival
- Corti a Ponte – Piccolo Festival
Corti a Ponte – Piccolo Festival focuses on short films made by children and youth from 3 to 19 year old.
Corti a Ponte – Grande Festival organizes a competition section for art / professional films. The Grande Festival has two main competition sections:
- Competition for professional films
- Competition for young film directors (aged 18-25)
