CMU Santa María De Europa University Short Film Contest, now in 23rd edition, has announced lineup for the 2022 edition of the festival, which takes place from April 18-25, 2022 at Santa María de Europa Residence Hall in Madrid, Spain.

University Short Film Contest C.M.U. Santa María De Europa is an annul film festival taking place each spring in Madrid, Spain. The festival is organized by the students of Complutense University of Madrid. The student-run film festival is an initiative that aims to support the production of short films by university students and encourage their professional development.

The Complutense University of Madrid, or Universidad Complutense de Madrid, was founded in Alcalá in 1293 before relocating to Madrid in 1836. It is one of the oldest operating universities in the world. The university is named after the ancient Roman settlement of Complutum, now an archeological site in Alcalá de Henares, just east of Madrid.

C.M.U. Santa María de Europa is a very special film festival as it binds the students together for a celebration on cinema. The event is completely organized by the students of the university, and that means we get together for a highly-purposed value and try our best to celebrate the works of the students from around the world. We feel so proud to have walked into the 23rd edition of the festival.
