41st Uppsala Short Film Festival announces winners for 2022

41st Uppsala Short Film Festival has announced the complete list of award winners for 2022, which took place in the Swedish city of Uppsala from October 24-30.

Founded in 1982, Uppsala Short Film Festival has since become Sweden’s premier arena for short film and one of the most important short film festivals in Europe.

Uppsala Short Film Festival is recognized by Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), which means that winning the international or national competition at the festival makes a film eligible for a nomination for an Oscar.

The festival is also recognized by the European Film Academy and BAFTA. Screening at the festival qualifies Swedish short films for Guldbagge nominations — official and annual Swedish film awards ceremony honoring achievements in the Swedish film industry.
