Short Waves Festival has announced the complete list of short films in competition for the 14th edition of the festival, which takes place in the Polish city of Poznań from June 14-19.
Short Waves Festival is one of the most significant Polish festivals presenting short films, responding to world events.
Short Waves Festival aims to create an event that eliminates superficial boundaries between art domains (film, visual art, design, architecture, music), initiates social dialogue and sets new trends in the field of event-cinema.
More than 2,000 submissions have been submitted to take part in the 2022 edition of the festival. 89 short films from 17 countries have been selected by the festival programmers to compete in different competition sections of the festival, organizers announced in an announcement on the festival’s official website. 40 of the short films in competition comes from female directors and male directors has made the other 57 short films.
