FIFOG 2022 announces official competition lineup

FIFOG, or International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva, has announced the complete list of movies in competition for the 17th edition of the festival, which is scheduled to take place from 13th to 19th June 2022.

Festival International du Film Oriental de Genève (FIFOG) aims to become a cinematographic mirror of the countries of the East in their interactions with the West. It reflects both the joys and problems of the countries represented.

The 17th edition of the International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva, or FIFOG 2022, has picked “Freedom” as the main theme of the festival. The festival has called for “Freedom” in a feminine way—a feeling that has employed the desire to live. The festival aims to create a space to observe, explore and analyze the most innovative works in the East.

A lineup of 20 short and feature movies have been selection to go on screen in the Official Competition and Shorts Competition sections of the 17th International Oriental Film Festival of Geneva (FIFOG).
